Jan. 30--Medical problems that cause sleepless nights and fatigue-weary days for many Americans need not be a problem in Daviess and surrounding counties with the recent program accreditation of the Sleep Laboratory at Owensboro Medical Health System.
And more people in the area will soon be served at the sleep lab once a planned renovation adds two more sleep rooms and a more comfortable "homey" setting.
The lab has a two-month patient waiting list.
Managers at the OMHS sleep lab say the five-year accreditation by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine is the "self-policing" organization's assurance to the public.
