WE MAY, it seems, have Horatio Nelson at least partly to blame for the acrimonious, longrunning squabble with Greece over their dearest national treasure, the Elgin Marbles, which controversially reside in the British Museum.
The Greeks, needless to say, want their Marbles back.
I'm sure the British government - and particularly a New Labour one - would be delighted to return the Marbles on the next Greek freighter bound for Piraeus, if it weren't for one huge snag.
