PHILADELPHIA _ John Maus, 80, has no interest in the new Medicare prescription-drug discount card slated to be available to older and disabled Americans in a few months.
Maus and his wife, Mary Jean, 81, live in a retirement community in Spring House, Pa., where most of their prescription-drug and medical costs are included. For one medicine not covered, Neurontin to treat neuralgia pain, Maus saves $2,000 a year by buying from a Canadian pharmacy.
