Mar. 2--LAKELAND, Fla. -- The Florida Citrus Commission on Monday declared a truce in its war against low-carbohydrate diets before firing the first shot.
The commission unanimously approved testing four new television ads that stress the heart-healthy benefits of orange juice without mentioning the diets. It changed course 10 days after three 30-second spots critical of the low-carb trend tested badly with consumer panels.
