Feb. 29--People can debate endlessly about the health benefits of low-carbohydrate eating, but no one can deny that the popularity of the diet has created a whole new market for low-carb foods -- in Butte, too.
Low-carb bread, milk and even pizza are among offerings catering to the demands of the low-carb dieters.
"We wanted to join in the low-carb trend, everybody is doing it," said Linda Fels of Columbian Gardens Espresso, 27 N. Main St. "Everybody else is in there, we might as well be, too."
The low-carb craze hasn't triggered a change in the menu at the Uptown eatery, but rather the restaurant is packaging ...
