Feb. 18--Texas Instruments Inc. has hired a national real-estate services firm to help it figure out what to do with its 261-acre Attleboro site as the company shrinks its operations there.
The Staubach Co. will make recommendations on redeveloping the site and market the property to prospective buyers, Texas Instruments announced yesterday.
"At this point, a lot of options are under consideration," Texas Instruments spokeswoman Linda Megathlin said.
The company is undergoing a major restructuring that will result in the net elimination of about 800 jobs and move manufacturing to overseas plants.
