Feb. 21--Circuit City says it's "with you" and Best Buy says it knows how to turn customers on. But the question is, for how long?
The consumer electronics industry is changing as rapidly as the technology the chains sell.
And Circuit City has had trouble keeping up.
Earlier this month, the company announced it was closing 19 money-losing stores nationwide, including one in Fairlawn Town Center. While Best Buy has managed to avoid such cuts, it, too, is navigating an increasingly crowded market.
