ARLINGTON, Va., June 29 /PRNewswire/ -- The International Council of Cruise Lines (ICCL) announced today that all 118 vessels of its member lines are 100% compliant with the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code. This announcement comes two days before the July 1 deadline for all ships and port facilities worldwide.
The ISPS Code is a set of measures that enhance security of ships and port facilities globally, adopted by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) as an amendment to Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) regulations.
