HOLYOKE, Mass. -- Appearing today before the Connecticut Siting Council, ISO New England said the current design of a proposed transmission upgrade in Southwest Connecticut would result in a transmission system that continues to have significant reliability issues. ISO New England expressed the need to evaluate alternative transmission line designs in order to ensure a viable solution for the state's and the region's energy needs.
