Jun. 28--ONE LAST LOOK: The Look Nook, a longtime Rochester gift shop across from Saint Marys Hospital, is closing its doors for good Wednesday.
Owner Dixie Luttchens says health reasons and a decrease in business are driving her to close the 725-square-foot store at 1219 Second St. S.W. that she has run since 1981.
Luttchens cited the trend of insurance companies paying for shorter hospital stays as a major reason for the drop in business. She and her daughter have usually staffed the store.
"It is kind of like Cheers, only not a bar," she said.
