Feb. 9--Despite news reports of a recent spate of violence in the southernmost province of Pattani, a Jewish rabbi from the United Kingdom remains undeterred in his plans to visit the region regularly and supervise the production of kosher tuna ordered from a plant there.
Rabbi Danny Moore, 30, director of certification for the London Beth Din Kashrut Division, visited Pattani this month for a week to supervise the production of canned kosher tuna by Pattani Foods Industry Co.
