Jan. 14--Job creation in the San Jacinto Valley is expected to pick up with the recent hiring of two economic development specialists.
Diane Wirth is now executive director of the Valley Economic Development Corp., a public-private organization charged with growing business and jobs in the valley.
Wirth takes over a group that has been languishing for the past eight months following the departure of past executive director Pat Melvin.
