Jan. 10--An extra liquor license held by a for-profit arm of Sisters of St. Francis Health Services Inc. will be used by a family-style restaurant opening soon in Schererville.
Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, a smoke-free eatery with franchise locations in Fort Wayne, Illinois, Michigan and throughout the West Coast, will open in mid-February at 1401 Indianapolis Blvd. The restaurant will have a staff of 150 to 160 full- and part-time employees. Hiring will begin Monday at an employment trailer next to the restaurant.
