Jan. 9--The Economic Development Corp. of Erie County honored several local companies Thursday for their recent investments in Erie County.
Logistics Plus Inc. -- the freight management company that is moving its corporate headquarters into Union Station later this year -- was named the EDC's non-manufacturing employer of the year.
The company, which moved its corporate headquarters from Jamestown, N.Y., to Erie in 2003, is investing about $2.5 million to buy and renovate Union Station.
