After Syracuse dropped a 2-1 frustrating heartbreaker to the Richmond Kickers on Friday night, the doubts started seeping into the Salty Dogs' minds.
It was Syracuse's fifth A-League loss in six games. It dropped the team farther out of the playoff hunt. And the Salty Dogs had to recover quickly because the league's best team, the unbeaten Montreal Impact, were coming to P&C Stadium on Sunday.
"All you're thinking about is, "Ah, we lost, and now we're playing a better team, the best team in the league. Man, what are we doing wrong?"' said starting defender Lars Lyssand. "You don't like losing. We lost four games ...
