ATLANTA -- "Letters From War," the hit song and video from Word Records singer/songwriter Mark Schultz, is the centerpiece of the U.S. Army's "Be Safe - Make It Home" campaign, aimed at reducing the high rate of accidental fatalities among soldiers. Schultz and the Army have also produced a PSA and safety video intended to encourage families, friends, neighborhoods and communities to remind Soldiers to practice safety when they return home.
"Letters From War" is currently No. 4 on the Christian Adult Contemporary Indicator chart. The video and PSA can be seen on the Army's new, dedicated campaign web site, https://besafe.army.mil.
