PROJECT OVERVIEW:
The local INDELPRO SA DE CV is currently gearing-up to build a new polypropylene (PP) plant in Mexico. The latter company is a 50:50 joint venture held by ALPEK, the chemical subsidiary of GRUPO ALFA of Mexico, and Netherlands-based BASELL. The company is engaged in the manufacture and commercialization of PP in the world markets.
Construction plans under consideration call for building a factory with an installed production capacity of 350,000 metric tons per year. According to Raul Millares, INDELPRO President, the new plant is intended to strengthen his company's position in one of Mexico's most dynamic and fastest growing markets. ...
