HOUSTON -- The Doubletree(R) Hotel Houston-Allen Center, located in the heart of the "new" downtown Houston, today announced the beginning of a $5 million hotelwide renovation, which is anticipated to be completed in the first quarter of 2005. When the project is finished, this Doubletree hotel will offer guests a new health club as well as a renovated ballroom, refurbished guest room bathrooms and significant upgrades to the hotel's services and amenities.
This is part of a six-hotel renovation project by Slohat Hotels L.P. a joint venture of affiliates of USAA Real Estate CO. and Hilton Hotels Corporation (NYSE:HLT), that begins this summer and continues ...
