UPPER CHAMBER SPEAKER FOR CO-OPERATION WITH EUROPEAN UNION

The Belarusian parliament should cultivate its co-operation with the EU and minimise the negative impact of the European Union enlargement, Speaker of the Upper Chamber of the Belarusian Parliament Gennadi Novitski stated Wednesday in Minsk during the closure of the 10th session of the Upper Chamber.

"Among the goals of the parliamentary interaction are adherence to universal values of democracy, creation of a single legal space and establishing contacts in various fields of activities," Novitski said.
