WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE: HOT) has been selected by the Puerto Rico Convention Center District Authority to operate the new 500-room convention center hotel. The Sheraton San Juan Convention Center Hotel will open in 2007, and will be located adjacent to the 580,000 square-foot Puerto Rico Convention Center, which is scheduled to open in 2005.
