BALA-CYNWYD, Pa. -- It's not often that there are positive results from a Chapter 11 filing and subsequent liquidation, but in Nancy Amoroso's case, that's exactly what happened.
Amoroso, a former buyer for the now-defunct Dimensions, owned by Murray Korn, took the opportunity of being out of work to open her own better men's wear store, Threads, located on Montgomery Avenue here in a Philadelphia suburb, in early December.
"I hoped to continue working with Murray Korn, but I was going out of my mind. I am a sales and performance retailer and I realized that if I could do it for him, I can do it for myself."
