TRANZ Rail Holdings, New Zealand, has been renamed Toll NZ in a rebranding exercise thai reflects the name of its majority owner, Toll Holdings of Australia. The rail operation becomes Toll Rail with responsibility for line haul operations, while the freight forwarding business, responsible for the retail end of the market, becomes Toll Tranz Link.
Mr Gary Taylor, from the Australian airline Virgin Blue, will head Toll Rail and Mr Greg Miller has been appointed to head Toll Tranz Link.
