Jul. 2--A Delaware court split the difference yesterday in a legal clash between Qualcomm and Texas Instruments over a technology licensing pact the companies reached in 2000.
Judge William Chandler ruled that while Texas Instruments violated the nondisclosure terms of its deal with Qualcomm, the breach did not merit the San Diego company terminating the agreement.
In addition, the Delaware Chancery Court dismissed Texas Instruments' countersuit.
