FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. _ I asked my local kosher experts what they have to say about a favorite Jewish pastime _ eating.

_Rabbi Michael Gold of Temple Beth Torah, Tamarac, Fla., says, "My favorite kosher food is probably my favorite food period _ popcorn. But seriously, my favorite particularly kosher food is a bowl of chicken soup with matzo balls, preferably my wife's homemade soup."

_Rabbi Moishe Kievman of Beit David Highland Lakes Shul (Fla.) says he prefers cholent. He describes it as a traditional Jewish Shabbat dish made of potatoes, beans, barley and meat. By law, Jews are not allowed to heat a dish on Shabbat, ...
