TOWSON, Md. -- AmericasBank Corp. and its wholly owned subsidiary AmericasBank, announced the election of three new board members. Mark H. Anders, President and CEO also announced the appointment of three new vice presidents who will play an integral role in plans to rebuild and rebrand the community bank.
The new board members are: Savas J. Karas, CPA, Graylin E. Smith, CPA, and John C. Weiss, III. Each was elected to a three year term at the company's annual stockholder meeting. Mr. Smith, a partner in the regional accounting firm of Abrams, Foster, Nole & Williams, P.A. was also elected to chair each company's Audit Committee.
