This week the Navy will debrief the participants who submitted final bids for the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Flight 0 competition and also have kickoff meetings with Flight 0 winning teams led by Lockheed Martin [LMT] and General Dynamics [GD].
"We do have our kickoff meeting [today]," Carol Hulgus, Lockheed Martin's vice president of programs for the company's Maritime Systems and Sensors (MS2) group, said during a media briefing at the company's facility in Washington, D.C. "We have our debriefs [this morning] and our kickoff [this afternoon]." GD's meetings are slated for this week as well.
