Jul. 6--SPIDER-MAN 2 SETS SALES RECORD: Spider-Man 2 earned more than 100 million baht in its first four days, becoming the highest-grossing movie in the history of Columbia TriStar Buena Vista Films (Thailand) Co (CTBV).
Last year, CTBV said Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines took in 100 million baht in its first five days.
Sales of Spider-Man 2 are expected to surpass 160 million baht this week.
So far this year, the highest-grossing movie in Thailand has been Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King at 193 million baht, imported by Mongkol Major, followed by Harry ...
