Diamond Packaging, Rochester, N.Y., installs its second Speed-master UV press from Heidelberg. This seven color CD 102 UV, which joins the company's six-color Speedmaster CD 102 UV, has a double coater and is controlled centrally by Heidelberg's Prinect CP2000 Center. The new press contains the CDC 24 color control system to provide customers with high level print quality and accurate color reproduction to ensure consistent and accurate UP printing. The combination of drying units allows for the production of high gloss applications with dispersion of UV coatings and metallic effects.
