LOS ANGELES _ The death of Marlon Brando reverberated in the world of film and brought tributes from fellow actors Friday, who recalled a star who redefined the image of a Hollywood leading man through acclaimed Method performances as street-tough but emotionally raw characters.
"He influenced more young actors of my generation than any actor," longtime friend and "Godfather" co-star James Caan said Friday. "Anyone who denies this never understood what it was all about."
