SUNA is an organization made up of many unique individuals brought together through a common goal of providing high-quality urologic patient care. When I first came to urology over 10 years ago, I wondered how I might be able to network with other urology nurses to expand my knowledge base and learn to better care for my patients. My predecessor at the institution and the urologist I work with told me about SUNA and my hospital provided support for me to attend my first national conference in Las Vegas. After that incredible conference, I knew I would be in SUNA for the long haul. Not only did I confirm the knowledge I had about urology, but I learned many knew things as well. ...
