CLEVELAND _ Hank Blalock got his wish.
The Rangers third baseman accepted an invitation Thursday to participate in the All-Star Game's home run derby Monday in Houston. He received a call from a major league official immediately after the Rangers' 10-0 win in Cleveland.
"It's going to be a thrill," said Blalock, who has 22 home runs. "I'm sure this one is going to be different than any spring training or Florida State League home run derby."
Blalock, who will make his second All-Star appearance Tuesday night, has been in home run derbies, but not on this stage. He finished second at the Florida State League All-Star ...
