Dainichiseika of Japan will establish a branch company called Dainichiseika Shanghai Co Ltd and construct comprehensive production units in Shanghai Chemical Industry Zone. The new company will produce resin master-batches, functional coatings, intaglio printing inks, special PU resins and adhesives. The project will become a core plant of the company in its chemical operations in China.
The plant will have an area of around 70 000 [m.sup.2] and the initial investment is around 2.5 billion Japanese Yen (US$22.3 million). The capacity is planned to reach 5 000 t/a next year, including 2 400 t/a resin master-batches and 400 t/a ...
