ALLENTOWN, Penn. _ Along Postal Road and on the tarmac of Lehigh Valley International Airport, mothers brought their children to witness history and others toted cameras to capture it.
President Bush's arrival at the airport Friday morning gave the Lehigh Valley the first glimpse of a sitting president since 1995.
"It's always happening somewhere, but not here. This morning it's happening here," said Gary Perin, chairman of the Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority, which runs LVIA.
Anticipating Air Force One's arrival, morning travelers were drawn to the windows at the terminal's gate area.
