Jul. 10--It may not sound like much, but 1.5 percent is the largest six-month jump in occupancy that Tulsa's apartment market has seen since 1990.
In the first half of the year, the overall occupancy increased from 89 percent to 90.5 percent, says a report released Friday by real estate firm CB Richard Ellis Oklahoma.
The figures have market watchers speculating whether the rise in occupancy is just seasonal or if it indicates a genuine improvement in the local economy.
