The USA's Cephalon has reached an agreement in principle with the Federal Trade Commission, subject to final approval, for the company's proposed merger with CIMA Labs. As a result, both companies have waived their respective rights to terminate the merger agreement and intend to close this transaction at the earliest possible date, Cephalon said.
