Beverly Enterprises Inc. is in the process of selling 10 of its Arkansas nursing homes to Perennial Healthcare Management LLC of Monkton, Md.

The Arkansas Office of Long Term Care said it was notified on May 25 about the pending sale, which is expected to close on June 30.

Beverly has 29 nursing homes and two assisted living centers in Arkansas.
