GALAXY CHEESE COMPANY ISSUES INSURANCE UPDATE, FINANCIAL RESULTS
ORLANDO, Fla., Feb. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Galaxy Cheese Company (NASDAQ: GALX) announced today its financial results for its third quarter ended Dec. 31, 1991.
Net sales were $1,137,718 in the quarter ended Dec. 31, 1991, compared to sales of $4,966,814 in the comparable 1990 period. Net sales for the nine months ended Dec. 31, 1991, were $6,244,490 compared to sales of $15,790,875 for the nine months ended Dec. 31, 1990. The decrease in both periods was attributable to the fire in June 1991 that caused a complete loss of the company's sole manufacturing facility, including the inventory, equipment and ...
