The passion for self-improvement made Oprah Winfrey a superstar and keeps the bestseller lists full of books on how to have a healthier body, a bigger bank account and a satisfied soul.
And it's what a couple of Twin Cities entrepreneurs are counting on to lift their new media enterprise above a crowded field of start-ups looking for investors and space on major cable and satellite TV systems.
