LOS ANGELES _ When actress Portia de Rossi met John Kennedy Jr. and his wife Carolyn Bessette she had no idea that one day she would be playing the former Calvin Klein publicist in a TBS movie.
"I was at a White House correspondents dinner and happily minding my own business," de Rossi recalls, "and I felt a very sharp tug on my ponytail. I turned around and Carolyn Bessette was standing there with a big grin on her face. She said to me, `What? Are you trying to look like me?'"
Turns out Bessette was a fan of de Rossi's show at the time ("Ally McBeal") and the two chatted for about an hour. They met once more before ...
