FORT LAUDERDALE _ Indianapolis Colts tailback Edgerrin James admits coming back from a serious knee injury wasn't quite as easy as he expected.
The former University of Miami star finished the regular season 11 yards short of 1,000, costing himself a $1.38 million bonus in the process. But entering Saturday's first-round playoff game against the host New York Jets, James is still proud of what he has accomplished in his first season since suffering a torn anterior cruciate ligament midway through the 2001 campaign.
