NEW ORLEANS, July 14 /PRNewswire/ -- The Delta Queen Steamboat Company, Inc., (DQSC), owned and operated by hospitality giant Delaware North Companies, has named cruise industry veteran Bruce Nierenberg as its president. In his position, he will oversee the operations of company and provide leadership for the three authentic paddle wheelers that comprise the company's fleet, the American-flagged Delta Queen, Mississippi Queen and American Queen. Nierenberg replaces former president Rick Abramson, who was recently promoted to president of Delaware North Companies Sportservice, the company's flagship subsidiary.
