LAS VEGAS, July 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Local and state dignitaries, community leaders, Las Vegas resort executives and Las Vegas celebrities were among the first passengers to board the Robert N. Broadbent Las Vegas Monorail, the world's most advanced public transportation system, for its inaugural ride today.
Las Vegas' favorite headliners entered the new state-of-the-art experience traveling from the MGM Grand to the Sahara. At each of the seven stations, celebrities and entertainers from each of the properties boarded the monorail for a ride along its 4-mile route, culminating with a red-carpet disembarkation back at the MGM Grand.
