MANKATO, Minn. _ Daunte Culpepper is listed at 264 pounds, still huge for a quarterback, biggest in the NFL. Behind his new Minnesota Vikings line, he looks small.
He's 6 feet 4 inches, tall for a quarterback, and they are asking if he has trouble seeing over his blockers. The shortest is 6-4 center Matt Birk.
Culpepper looks fit as he rolls out and tries to find a bigger, stronger Randy Moss. Bears offensive coordinator John Shoop uses Culpepper as an example of fitness when explaining the stamina necessary to be an effective running quarterback.
