LOS ANGELES _ Rob Lowe wants to talk about his new show, but the old one keeps coming up.
The actor never shows frustration or the slightest curtness at TV critics' questions. He acknowledges he had "a lot of unfinished business" in playing Sam Seaborn for four years on "The West Wing."
"Sam just was getting less and less and less and less and less to do," the actor says in explaining his departure last season from the NBC drama. "It wasn't about screen time. I had a story line once where I was trying to get people to wear seat belts. It was hilarious and really, really funny, but at the end of the day, I wanted Sam to _ ...
