I was saddened by the passing of Uta Hagen and disappointed in reading Edward Albee's piece from her memorial (April '04). I wish Mr. Albee had shared more about the profound effect Ms. Hagen's life has had on the theatrical community--through her school, her books, the playwrights foundation and, of course, her work.
