Tie-dye, a la C & C California (and not Rupert from "Survivor"), is fabulous.
It's fun. It looks great with jeans. Prada showed it for spring. And, if you're a trend freak, you're definitely going to want it.
But if $55 for the T and $75 for the bell-sleeved version is too expensive, don't worry.
I took Rit Dye, an inexpensive at-home tie dye kit, to my J. Crew tissue tee ($18) and my white, cotton tank.
There were a few problems: In my tiny apartment, stocked with beer
from Canada, wine from California, champagne from France and vodka from Poland, I couldn't find any laundry detergent, ...
