HOLLYWOOD _ "Toy Story 2" is close to being the perfect film, according to a university lecturer who claims to have found the secret to making hit movies.
To create a hit movie directors need to combine seven essential elements in the right proportions to ensure success, according to Sue Clayton, a movie director and screenwriting lecturer for the University of London and the British Film Council. Her research revealed that the perfect feature must be composed of: 30 percent action, 17 percent comedy, 13 percent good vs. evil, 12 percent love/sex/romance, 10 percent special effects, 10 percent plot and eight percent music.
