NEW YORK _ Arturo Moreno's rally monkey sits in his family room next to the TV remote control.

Wednesday night, about 12 hours before he received Major League Baseball's unanimous approval to buy the Anaheim Angels, he sat in his Phoenix home shaking the rally monkey as the Angels came from behind to beat the New York Yankees.

Thursday, the rally monkey's job looked safe. So did the fate of the Angels.
