People determined to mine the admittedly tiny nuggets of progress from the intractable Israeli-Palestinian conflict are forced to drill deep beneath the surface of most major news developments.
Accordingly, it's important to bypass the obvious elements of last Friday's ruling by the International Court of Justice in the Hague that Israel's controversial security barrier is illegal and should be dismantled.
