Jul. 11--HOME PCS GAIN BOOB TUBE ROLE: Here's a small, plastic box that can turn your home PC into a TV, complete with TiVo-type time shifting and direct recording onto a DVD or CD.
The ADS Instant TV system also transfers home videotapes onto a CD or DVD using a camcorder or a VCR. The needed RCA cables come in the box.
The included Video@Home software from Ulead Systems Inc. makes quick work of accessing video input and saving it to computer files. If desired, these files can be burned onto a disc in VCD, SVCD and DVD formats.
